Yum!

On Monday night I was a little bored so I decided to try a new recipe. Debbie gave me the idea of cinnamon rolls and I remembered that my mom used to make super yummy cinnamon rolls when we were little. I started at 5:30 and finished at 11:30. The rolls took several hours to rise in different stages. Ryan helped me with the assembling part and as you can tell in the first picture he wasn't to excited. But he was good at hamming it up for the other pictures. The cinnamon rolls turned out to be very tasty! We all enjoyed a late night snack, especially Andrew! *See pictures at bottom!

Time with the girls!!!

These Next few posts are long over due! Sorry to keep you all in suspense because we know you are all so enthralled and caught up in our Oh so interesting lives! Just Kidding!! My twin brother Scott and the love of his life, Krystal (who is super awsome!), recently got married a few weeks ago. After the wedding everyone went home but Erin stayed with Morgan and Taylor for another week. We did all kinds of fun stuff with them! We went to the splash park, the mall for the marry-go-round, the train museum and of course swimming. Ryan has allot of energy because he was able to keep up with the girls every day! I think that after a while, he was wearing them out! What a good uncle! He'll make an awesome dad! It was fun getting to spend time with Erin because we don't get to see them as often as we would like. We got very familiar with the new version of Disney's Fantasia. In fact I think we have it memorized because we watched it every day, some times twice a day! Morgan and Taylor get bigger every time we see them and I'm still convinced that they are the cutest girls in the world!!!!

Scott and Krystal's Wedding

Its Official! Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Krystal Channell were sealed in the Sacramento Temple on July 25, 2008! Finally!!!!! Everything went perfect that day! Scott was handsome as ever and Krystal was absolutely gorgeous! Krystal had nine, yes, nine bridesmaids while Scott had 6 groomsmen. Every one wore bright pink in some capacity. The dresses were pink and so were the boys vests and ties. We all looked fabulous! Morgan and Taylor were part of the flower girls and they were too cute! Later that night they had a reception at the Esketon Village in Sacramento. The reception was full of dancing and yummy food! Scott played a beautiful song that he wrote just for his beautiful bride on the piano and made us all cry! They left the next day for Cancun Mexico for a week long honeymoon. Congratulations Scott and Krystal!!! We love you!!!!!

What a good looking couple!

The Obstacle Course

I'm following up the last post with the obstacle course that we did on the 4th of July weekend. We have been watching the new game show "Wipe Out" an American version of Ninja Warrior. The show is based around a giant obstacle course. The boys felt inspired to set up an obstacle course on our friend's property. The race started on one side of the property at the fence. After the horn we had to run and jump through 4 trees, then run into a shed and out the other side while grabbing a basket ball. After, we jumped onto one of two trampolines then over to the other which was under a basket ball hoop. After dunking the ball we had to run to the other side of the property and touch the fence. From there we ran through some bushes to the volley ball court where we picked up a soccer ball and punted it over the net. After clearing the net we ran over to the "army tires" which were really round pool inter tubes. From there we jumped onto a boogie board in the pool and swam over to the deep end. At the bottom of the pool were pennies, each with our own initials. We had to dive down and grab our own penny then jump out of the pool and head over to the lawn. At the lawn we jumped over over two chairs and "army crawled" under a bench. Finally from there we ran to the finish line! Wheew!!! It was fun, but hard! Matt Felt came in first beating Ryan by only seconds. The boys plan on another course soon, so watch out Matt, Ryan is coming for you!

4th of July

Let me just start by saying that I love the 4th of July! Ryan and I had so much fun this year! We had a weekend of BBQ's, soccer volleyball, hid and seek in the dark and the ultimate obstacle course! On the 4th we got together at our friends Matt's house and enjoyed a yummy lunch while the boys played pool basket ball. They take pool basket ball very seriously as you can see in the pictures. We later pulled out the slip and slide and then played a little soccer volley ball. Soccer volley ball is just like regular volley ball only played with your feet, the boys made it up a while ago and its actually pretty fun! Later that night we lit off only two of the firework fountains that we bought because most of California is on fire right now and the police were cracking down on illegal fire works. Sad! But we will use the rest some other time. Here are some lovely pictures from the 4th
